Canvas’ British Invasion

Way back in the ‘60s, a wave of British rock ‘n roll bands washed over the United States. There was plenty of hype surrounding the bands, but no one could have known then how legendary some of them–The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who–would become. This wave or movement or phenomenon was called The British Invasion. In a lot of ways, it changed popular music forever.

Today, in 2013, we at Canvas don’t necessarily expect to change the world (though we fully expect to change the educational world), but we are staging a reverse British Invasion: we’re hopping across the pond for our first official UK event.

We’ll be invading the University of Birmingham for a half day of presentations. It’s your chance to learn more about Canvas and to hear from members of the Canvas team including co-founder and CTO Devlin Daley.
